Beauty Bum is a weight loss cream that has been designed by BeautyFit to help you get rid of cellulite and remove unwanted fat stores.
Background
Anti-cellulite creams have been around for quite some time now, and are all working off the fact that cellulite plagues both the overweight and the skinny.
The appearance of cellulite is not just limited to those who have higher BMIs; in fact, the occurrence of cellulite depends more on your genetics rather than your jean size.
Instead, people who have thinner skin tend to show their lumpy stores of fat more readily than those with naturally thicker skin. This is why women, who generally have thinner skin, complain of cellulite more than their male counterparts.
History
To combat this, there have been creams developed, like Beauty Bum, that work to change the look and feel of the skin, temporarily. Most of these creams have stimulants and diuretics that drain the skin cells of water and cause them to dry out.
As they dry out, the skin is pulled tighter and the fat cells beneath the skin are harder to see. Unfortunately, this drying doesn’t last forever, and will usually only reduce cellulite for about an hour, or so.
Ingredients
After looking at the ingredients in Beauty Bum, we can tell that this product plans to dry out the skin in order to reduce the appearance of cellulite.
They have some stimulating ingredients like green tea extract, yerba mate leaf, guarana extract and eleuthero root as well as caffeine which acts as both a stimulant and a diuretic.
These ingredients will stimulate your cells to release water back into the blood stream, causing them to shrink and stretch the other, more supple, skin cells tightly over your fat.
However, your body will soon reverse this effect and restore the water back into your cells, causing them to reveal just as much fat as they did before.
Our Opinion
Because Beauty Bum doesn’t actually get rid of any fat, and will only hide it for a very short amount of time, we don’t recommend investing in this product.
