This enzyme breaks carbs down and enables them to be absorbed in the digestive system. By blocking this enzyme, you’ll most likely pass some of the carbs you eat through your system without being digested.

Carb Phaser 1000 uses the benefits of Gymnema Sylvestre, an herb grown in the tropical forests of India. With the nickname of “sugar destroyer” (given to this herb by the University of Michigan Health System), this herb helps block the taste of sweets to help you eat less carbs and sugar.

One of the reasons this herb is included in many weight loss products is because it’s associated with several health benefits like lowering lipid levels and having antiallergenic and antiviral properties.

Chromium has also been included in Carb Phaser 1000 to help you regulate blood sugar levels and, according to researchers at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, create better glucose absorption to help with muscle growth.

Carb Phaser 1000 has also included Vanadium in its formula to help regulate your blood glucose levels. Vanadium is thought to increase the uptake of glucose without raising insulin levels in order to to help decrease belly fat.

What Else Should I Know About Carb Phaser 1000?

The only tests for the Vanadium have been conducted on mice and rats, and full human effects aren’t known. This mineral also has side effects associated with it such as giving you a green tongue and causing gastrointestinal side effects.

While Chromium may help regulate your blood sugar levels, you’re most likely getting enough in the foods you eat because you don’t need very much of this mineral to see its full benefits. Long term effects of supplementing your diet with Chromium aren’t known.

Bottom Line

Carb Phaser 1000 may help you block some of the carbs you consume, but we don’t feel comfortable recommending this product. We don’t like the fact that some of the ingredients have only been tested on animals, and therefore, long term effects aren’t known. We’d suggest finding a weight loss aid with ingredients which have more scientific studies behind them.
