DopaLean
DopaLean is a weight loss supplement that relies on new research to help you lose weight. Unlike many fat burners, DopaLean does not use stimulants or thermogenics.
We’re going to break down the ingredients in DopaLean and let you know how we feel about this new weight loss supplement.
Ingredients
DopaLean contains very few ingredients but they seem promising. Here is the list of ingredients on their label.
Svetol
Svetol is DopaLean’s claim to fame. It is a newer ingredient and is a plant extract of decaffeinated green coffee.
Svetol was designed by Naturex as a natural ingredient for food and dietary supplements to lower the amount of glucose released into the body. Svetol is also an antioxidant that limits the production of fat cells in the liver.
Vitamin C
Vitamin C is has antioxidant characteristics but it is not a major factor in weight loss. Vitamin C has been known as the cure for the common cold. It can also help fight against acne breakout and help with other health problems, but fat burning is not its forte.
Mucuna Pruriens Extract
This is another ingredient that doesn’t really much of a factor in weight loss. Mucuna Pruriens Extract is known for its sexual enhancing properties. It does have antioxidant properties which can help keep the body healthy. But as far as fat burning, there is really no evidence that Mucuna Pruriens Extract is an effective ingredient.
DopaLean contains 1000mg of Mucuna Pruriens Extract which makes it by far the most potent ingredient.
Other Product Details
You can find DopaLean on the official website of ProSource for $28.95. That ranks among the lower prices on the market. One container lasts around one month.
The label recommends taking four capsules per day; two in the morning and two at night.
What We Recommend
As a weight loss supplement, DopaLean does not seem to be effective. Its most potent ingredient, Mucuna Pruriens Extract, acts as more of a sexual enhancer than a weight loss ingredient.
The ingredient Svetol shows some promise but the only clinical studies I could find were those done by the makers.
DopaLean has the potential to be an effective product. Since it is a non-stimulant dietary supplement, you are not going to have the headaches and “crash” feeling you get from caffeine and other ingredients. Unfortunately, we just don’t know if it will even work.
