Fat Smack
Created by PURUS labs, Fat Smack is a novel product that supposedly includes “only those potent few ingredients at the correct dosages,” to promote weight loss results.
Its site continues with a lengthy discourse about how other weight loss supplements use “unsubstantiated materials” in their formulas, but when you take it down to the nitty gritty essentials, Purus Labs claims that Fat Smack can successfully help you reach your weight loss goals when used in conjunction with a healthy diet and regular exercise.
If you were to strip this product of its superfluous language, you’d basically find a formula that contains the same old mix of stimulants, appetite suppressants, and vitamins that have proven time and time again to help you lose weight. But if we sift through the dirt, will we find a golden solution to losing weight?
Inside Fat Smack
Caffeine: Yes, Fat Smack advertisers resorted to using its scientific name 1,3,7-trimethylxanthine, Caffeine is still the same stimulant it always has been. Caffeine is an effective metabolism and energy booster due to its ability to interact with adenosine receptors, neurotransmitters in your brain that (when blocked) will trigger your body into an agitated state. This increases caloric expenditure and ignites the breakdown of fat.
Cissus Quadrangularis: This plant has been used for thousands of years as an alternative form of medicine. Cissus Quadrangularis is an effective workout recovery aid, helping to speed the healing of muscle tears and similar injuries so you can get off the couch and back into the gym.
Piperine: An extract of black pepper that enhances your body’s ability to absorb nutrients, making the rest of Fat Smack’s ingredients more
effective as a whole. Piperine can increase catecholamine (“fight or flight” hormones) secretion and, to a certain extent, promote thermogenesis.
Are There Any Negative Side Effects?
Side effects will vary between individuals, but those who are sensitive to caffeine and similar stimulants may wish to exercise caution before using Fat Smack. Like many other weight loss supplements, Fat Smack depends on caffeine to do most of the weight loss work, and unfortunately, high doses of caffeine can result in side effects ranging from headaches, jitters, insomnia, and even nausea.
Will Fat Smack Work?
Fat Smack’s formula isn’t all that different from so many other weight loss supplements on the market, so its safe to assume that Fat Smack can help you reach your weight loss goals. Fat Smack sells around $27 to as much as $65 dollars online, making this product an expensive investment for such a standard formula.
Interestingly, for a company that claims to use only the purest weight loss ingredients, 2-amino-4 methylhexane is not proven to promote weight loss (though it does provide a euphoric sensation).
