Rather than giving you a gradual all-day burn like many thermogenic formulas, Firestorm doesn’t hold back on the stimulants. Though the legality of ephedra can be a little fuzzy around the edges, a 25 mg dose of this extract can certainly boost your metabolism and burn off the extra fat.

Before the year 2000, any product containing doses larger than 4 mg of ephedra would have been considered illegal. GE Pharma Firestorm contains more than six times the legal amount.

Caveats of FireStorm

As it turns out, this product’s most effective ingredient is its downfall. Although a dietary supplement such as this isn’t regulated by the FDA, the fact doesn’t mean that such high concentrations of ephedra are safe for consumption. GE Pharma even warns on their label that anyone who consumes more than the recommended dose of this powerful product should contact poison control immediately.

And even all you caffeine junkies out there may find the whopping dose of 255 mg caffeine to be a bit much. When used in such high concentrations, caffeine can cause unpleasant side effects such as headaches, jitters, nervousness, insomnia, and even abnormal heart rhythms.

Will it Work?

If you’re willing to put your body at risk simply to lose weight, then GE Pharma FireStorem may be an option for you, but we wouldn’t recommend taking such extremes. Although FireStorm can be an effective tool for weight loss, toeing the line with this product may result in unforeseen side effects.
