Optislim Soup

Is anyone in the mood for soup? Optislim, a company based in Australia, offers three hearty soups that they claim will “accelerate” your weight loss efforts. The makers of Optislim say they can get you all of your daily nutrients, including 25 essential vitamins and minerals when you use at least two packets of their hearty soup each day. Do Optislim soups really make the cut, or are they just another weight loss gimmick that takes your money and leaves you wanting?
The Program
Optislim offers a three step program that they claim will help you to receive the recommended daily nutrients you need to keep going and in the process accelerate your weight loss efforts.
Step 1: Accelerated Weight Loss-this is the most intensive step of the program. Not everyone that participates in the Optislim program will go through this phase. This phase is designed to help you shift weight fast and maximize your results. In this step you replace two to three meals a day with an Optislim shake, soup or bar.
Step 2: Rapid Weight Loss- this is the phase designed for anyone who wants to lose weight at a more steady pace. It can also be used by anyone who has already gone through a few weeks of the Accelerate weight loss phase and would like to continue to lose weight. This phase should be done in conjunction with a healthy meal plan and physical activity program.
Step 3: Balanced Weight Loss- in this third and final stage of the program you have most likely reached your goal weight and have reached the maintenance stage. This step requires just one meal replacement per day. You can also increase your servings of whole grains, vegetables and fruits.
The soups are available in all three steps of the program and are available in three hearty flavors: tomato, creamy chicken, and pumpkin.
Recommendations
You should consult your doctor before staring on an Optislim meal replacement program, especially if you plan on replacing more than two meals each day with an Optislim product, or a pre-existing condition exists.
We, however, think there are better options out there when it comes to meal replacement products. There are no known clinical tests or trials and the product doesn’t receive very high customer reviews. At nearly $19 per box, designed to last only a few days, you will have to purchase at least two boxes to make it through each week. Throw in the required Optislim Fiber supplement and you will be spending well over $100 per month.
