T2 Xtreme is a weight loss supplement that is marketed by SAN Nutritional Supply Company to be able to maximize your metabolism by stimulating your thyroid.

Although this seems like a fairly safe way to lose weight, T2 Xtreme is described as a supplement that can help you get results that were “previously unthinkable outside of dangerous and illegal prescription drugs.”

Unsurprisingly, these extreme results are directed for bodybuilders and T2 Xtreme has been described by SAN as an ally for those who are on a quest for “cellophane thin skin.”

Despite that the average dieter isn’t interested in having skin so thin that you could wrap your leftovers in it, we decided to research T2 Xtreme to see what it could offer to the casual dieter.

Anything To Be Worried About?

After looking at T2 Xtreme’s ingredients label, we didn’t find any dangerous or even borderline ingredients. Because of the bold claims made about T2 Xtreme’s efficiency, we expected to see some ingredients that at least toed the line of safety.

However, we just saw one active ingredient that had been derived from the livers of cows. This chemical is supposed to be able to stimulate your body’s production of the thyroid stimulating hormone, thyroxine.

With more thyroxine in your system, your body should be able to perform more lipolysis, or the breakdown of fat. In fact, many people who have thyroid deficiencies have seen weight loss after they’ve received injections of thyroxine.

Unfortunately, because T2 Xtreme doesn’t offer a direct supply of thyroxine, we can’t guarantee that it will be an effective way to raise your levels of thyroxine.

In addition, outside stimulation of the production of hormones has been found to dramatically decrease your body’s own ability to produce its own hormones.

Would You Recommend T2 Xtreme?

Because the stimulation of hormone production could eventually lead to less of your own, natural production of thyroxine, we don’t recommend using T2 Xtreme.

Any weight loss that you do see from the product could be reversed and you could even see weight gain when you discontinue using T2 Xtreme.
