Weight Off Plus HCG doesn’t tell me much of anything when I look at the site. It says 2 things:
1. Weight Off Plus HCG is based on HCG
Unfortunately, all studies, case studies, etc. have shown that HCG doesn’t promote weight loss. Yes, when you’re only eating 500 calories a day and exercising, you will lose weight. But you’ll actually lose more if you’re not using HCG. HCG users who are often obese individuals who lose sometimes 2-3 pounds in a day with a 1200 calorie diet and exercise plan, are only losing 1 pound or less a day on HCG, and 500 calories a day is not safe. Obviously, pregnant women aren’t generally losing weight.
2. Weight Off Plus HCG is a Homeopathic Blend
Homeopathy is great and fine, unless you actually want to see results. Homeopathy is a simple process of diluting an ingredient typically about 12 times. It has been called pseudoscience, junk science, quackery, and a lot of other not so complementary things.
Already I can say that Weight Off Plus HCG is not on good ground. But it goes beyond that. Looking at Weight Off Plus HCG, the other ingredients aren’t much stronger. Most use carnitine as a nutritional supplement. But carnitine has been specifically proven not to promote weight loss, and it has no other known benefits. Add to that the diluting process of homeopathy, and clearly, it’s not quite what most would imagine.
The integrity of Weight Off Plus HCG is loose at best. It doesn’t have the most basic things that a weight loss supplement would require.
